We are seeking a proactive and driven Support Engineer to join our client’s team. This role is critical in leading and managing the deployment and installation of our IoT devices, with a strong focus on RF coverage and field engineering.

Qualified candidates must be local to Panama City Beach, FL or willing to relocate themselves and work a hybrid schedule. 


Job Details:

• Oversee and lead the deployment and installation teams, ensuring that all IoT devices are properly configured, installed, and operational.
• Conduct daily/periodic reviews of the status of devices and make necessary configuration changes.
• Perform site surveys to determine optimal gateway placements. Act as the boots on the ground to assess RF coverage and other critical factors for successful device deployment.
• Utilize tools and third-party platforms for data analytics to monitor and assess the performance of deployed devices. Maintain and develop libraries for device configurations and other related documentation.
• Work closely with operations teams (internally and externally) to ensure seamless coordination and execution of deployment activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of RF technology and relevant terminology is essential.
• 1+ years of experience in field deployment, particularly in IoT or WiFi installations. Experience in conducting site surveys and working with RF coverage is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools and the ability to work with in-house tools and Excel.
• Willingness to engage in physical tasks such as mounting devices on poles and interacting with IT personnel for back-call communications.

  Location:
  Must live or be willing to relocate yourself to Panama City Beach FL and work a hybrid in-office model. A couple days in office per week minimum and occasional field deployments.
