Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an Implementation Coordinator who will assist with implementing a new phone system for retail stores. This will allow the Operations Engineers to focus on telecom service requests and incidents along with several additional telecom initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of telephony implementation and process to ensure end user satisfaction, project continuity, and the timely delivery of services
- Participate in weekly and monthly telecom meetings to provide input on implementation procedures
- Answer questions pertaining to open-source telephony configuration and features
- Set deadlines and assign responsibilities
- Monitor and summarize progress of site implementation
- Assist with configuration of telephone, voicemail, and call flows
- Manage equipment procurement and delivery
- Coordinate the ordering and porting of DID numbers
- Be responsible for the project’s commitment to quality
- Maintain a mindset of continuous improvement, in terms of efficiency of processes & customer satisfaction and optimization
- Lead and direct the work of others
- Coordinate the implementation with the site support personal
- Ensure the equipment is ordered and delivered
- Assist with redirecting inbound phone numbers
- Provide technical and best practices to the support personnel that are on-site and implementing the phone system
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience with project coordination, management, telecommunications administration, phone number, and hardware coordination
- Must be courteous and polite in written and oral communication
- Be communicate ideas across in a non-confrontational manner in one-to-one situations, small groups, and before large audiences
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
